ISRS eServices and web applications were unavailable from 18:25 to 18:35. This unscheduled outage appears related to an overloaded I/O system that affected a database server. Normal performance has been restored.

3-20-2009 12:20 PM D2L Brief Interruption of Service
D2L users were unable to access their courses for approximately 25 minutes on March 20 from approximately 12:20 PM to 12:45 PM. This occurred during deployment of a change to the My Courses widget. We regret this interruption to users. Complete access to D2L courses was restored to users at 12:45 PM and the system has been operating smoothly since.

ISRS and eServices performance has been restored. We are attempting to determine root cause.
ISRS and eServices were unavailable from 13:15 to 14:45.

We are experiencing database performance issues with ISRS and eServices. The problem has been escalated to the database vendor. The cause has not been determined. We have no estimate of when the problem will be resolved.

On Sunday, March 15, MnSCU's Desire2Learn system will be unavailable to users during the 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM prescheduled routine maintenance window.
If the work can completed in less time, access to D2L will be restored when the maintenance work is completed.
