MnSCU System Status

2009-08-02 D2L Unavailable Sunday, August 2 from 5AM-9AM

D2L will be unavailable to users on Sunday, August 2, during the reserved maintenance window of 5 AM to 9 AM when we fail back to our D2L Production environment. If less time is needed to perform the failback, D2L will be available to users sooner.

2009-07-26 D2L Available as of 11:25 AM

D2L became available to users as of 11:25 AM, after failing over to the D2L Failover system. We will continue to operate on the Failover system until Sunday, August 2, when we will fail back to D2L Production.

2009-07-26 D2L Failover--Still Testing

We are still testing Failover. D2L is not available to users yet. Please stay posted for updates on D2L status.

2009-07-26 D2L Failover Rescheduled for July 26

D2L will be unavailable to users on Sunday, July 26, during our regular reserved maintenance window from 5 AM to 9 AM when we test failover. Details of the rescheduled failover test were sent to the MNSCUIMS listserv on July 21.

2009-07-21 D2L Failover Test (5AM- ~7AM down)

D2L will be unavailable to users on Tuesday, July 21, from 5 AM to approximately 6 or 7 AM when we test failover. Details of the failover test were sent to the MNSCUIMS listserv on July 17.

2009-07-19 D2L Available as of 8:56 AM Sunday, July 19, 2009

D2L is currently available and running normally, after the upgrade to MR2 on Sunday morning, July 19.

2009-08-08 D2L Maintenance 05:00-09:00

D2L will be unavailable to users on Saturday, August 8, from 5 AM to 9 AM when we take a maintenance release (MR3) to enhance D2L performance and fix issues in D2L. If more time is needed to apply the update, the downtime may extend beyond 9 AM. (We are using the reserved first Friday of the month downtime window for this maintenance release.)

2009-07-19 D2L Maintenance 05:00-09:00

D2L will be unavailable to users on Sunday, July 19, from 5 AM to 9 AM when we will take a maintenance release (MR2) to fix issues in D2L. If more time is required to perform the update, the downtime may extend beyond 9 AM. (We are using the reserved Sunday morning maintenance window to apply this fix to D2L.)

D2L will be unavailable to users from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2009. Maintenance work will be performed during this two-hour reserved downtime window.
