MnSCU Internet connectivity failed for all colleges routed via UofM at approximately 15:45. A Procera bandwidth management device stopped allowing new network connections. The errant device was restarted at 16:35. Connectivity to and from the Internet appears to have returned to normal.
Users at several schools reported 500 errors at login, or slow (30 seconds or more) load time for home pages. Errors reported beginning around 2:10 PM.
D2L will be unavailable to users on Sunday, August 16, from 5 AM to 9 AM to perform routine maintenance. (We are using a reserved weekly Sunday downtime.)
D2L is up and available to users, as of 5:45 AM after returning to our D2L Production system. For the past week D2L has been run from the Failover site.
