2012-04-22, 5:00-7:00 AM Planned System Maintenance

Due to enterprise system maintenance starting at 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, April 22, applications such as ISRS, eServices, D2L, U.Direct, U.Select, U.Achieve, Fundware, and Hyperion/Brio systems may not be available due to rolling outages.  The system is expected to be fully available by 7:00 a.m..

STUDENT IMPACT: During this time, some of the activities students will not be able to perform are as follows: submit applications, search for classes, register, or pay for classes.  Other activities may be impacted, as well.

STAFF/FACULTY IMPACT: All student, faculty, and administrative applications will be affected, including eServices (web registration, class schedule, web grades, web payment, student housing, etc.). System databases and applications such as APPL, REPL, HR-SCUPPS, Finance, Accounting, Student Housing, Student Payroll, etc., will not be available.

2012-04-22 05:00-07:00 D2L Brief Interruptions of Service

On Sunday, April 22, between 5:00 AM -7:00 AM, the WBOB data center that hosts our D2L system will have several minor outages as network maintenance is performed to the firewalls and upstream routers that connect the data center to the world.

D2L will be available to users, but throughout this 2-hour period, there may be intermittent intervals of 1-2 minutes where internet connectivity could be interrupted. This has the potential to affect D2L users, particularly for activities such as taking a quiz or entering and saving grades.

Please provide this information to D2L users at your school so they are aware of the situation.

OET has resolved the routing and DNS issue that caused connectivity issues this morning.  Enterprise access is available.
