2012-09-28 D2L QA unavailable

The D2L QA environment will be unavailable on Friday, September 28, 2012 for it install patches.

This should be completed this morning.

2012-09-17 D2L QA Unavailable

The D2L QA environment will be unavailable on Monday, September 17, 2012 for the upgrade to D2L version 10.

The upgrade may take 2-3 days to complete, as it will only be performed during daytime hours.

D2L experienced problems from approximately 9:37 AM to 9:55 AM.
System managers worked to resolve the issue.

Incident level: CRITICAL

UPDATE: D2L up and performance restored as of 9:55 AM

2012-09-14 07:00-12:30 D2L QA Unavailable

The D2L QA environment will be unavailable on Friday, September 14, 2012 for a full refresh.

Any work that has been performed in QA since the last refresh (July 31, 2012) will be overwritten by the course data that currently exists in D2L Production. Please let your users know about the refresh. (If any course materials have been created in QA, and users would like to retain them, the items can be exported from QA and imported to Production, to the extent of the D2L tools and items that are exportable.)

2012-09-06 09:00-11:00 D2L QA Unavailable

The D2L QA environment will be unavailable from 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 6, 2012 for a file server resnap. This will make the files in QA consistent with the D2L Production files as of the time of the resnap. The resnap only affects files, and does not overwrite QA data such as quiz submissions and gradebook scores.

Update: QA available at 10:37 AM.

The planned system maintenance was successfully completed and all systems are back online and operational.
