D2L will be unavailable to users from 10:00 PM on Friday, August 9, until approximately 2:00 AM on Saturday, August 10 (four hour down) so we can perform a hardware upgrade. D2L status will be posted at the website at http://status.mnscu.edu/desire2learn/
Note: This hardware upgrade will not affect the D2L user interface, and all other systems will be available.
UPDATE: D2L was made available to users by 12:37 AM on Saturday, August 10.
A fix has been run for the Document Viewer problem. As the system catches up, it may take several minutes for files to load into the viewer in Content.
Earlier this afternoon: We were getting reports from several schools that the D2L Content document viewer is not displaying some documents, and instead displays blank white pages with a red “X” in the corner.
Workarounds include re-uploading the affected documents or renaming the documents in Manage Files.
The issue has been reported to D2L and flagged as high urgency.
The D2L QA environment will be refreshed on Tuesday, June 18, 2013. Any work that has been performed in QA since the last refresh (March 2013) will be overwritten by the course data and files that exist in D2L Production as of June 18. Please let your faculty know about the refresh.
D2L QA will be unavailable during the refresh process, starting Tuesday, June 18 at 7:00 AM and continuing until mid afternoon.
D2L Downtime May 31, -June 1, 2013 for Upgrade to Version 10.1
D2L will be unavailable from 10:00 PM on Friday, May 31, 2013 until 10:00 PM on Saturday, June 1, 2013 to perform the upgrade to D2L version 10.1.
If the upgrade is completed sooner than expected, or takes longer than expected, the downtime will be adjusted accordingly.
